We all want to appear perfect in the eyes of our peers... but our peers are just as imperfect as we are. Sometimes we just need to see that and realize that we aren't alone, that we are actually quite normal and its ok to mess up, in order to move forward and make progress. :)Star-Dreamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14298850366884374226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7970703367799585001.post-78130483135187615722014-10-18T13:37:27.449-07:002014-10-18T13:37:27.449-07:00This was a very interesting read, and for some rea...This was a very interesting read, and for some reason I feel that I connect.

There have been stories I wrote that, I fell in love with a particular scene, felt the characters were believable, the plot was incredible, only to come back a year later to see how dumb and shallow they were.
So I do understand.

Ariannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14779168749430112906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7970703367799585001.post-30722200165234678832014-10-17T12:44:23.297-07:002014-10-17T12:44:23.297-07:00I would say that my biggest fear when it comes to ...I would say that my biggest fear when it comes to writing could be called "The fear of appearing simple". I throw a conflict at my character and immediately wonder if other people will see it as legitimate, difficult conflict or if they'll think I've pulled my punches or have been too sheltered to understand life in the real world. I've had to learn to follow the character into what hurts them and then just let it stand, whether I feel like 100% of my readers will feel the pain of it.

Does it help you any to realize that every writer, on some level, writes afraid? Does it help your struggle with your fear to realize that you don't struggle alone?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07687138882292011318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7970703367799585001.post-12156797564694309432014-10-17T08:30:47.087-07:002014-10-17T08:30:47.087-07:00This is so true!
